”The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!”

”Very welcoming stay. We felt so at home and very looked after. Staff were extremely helpful and food was excellent. Beef brisket Sunday lunch was delish and vame out like a work of art! Excellent quality produce. My bacon roll in the morning was real thick cut and tasty. Comfy beds. Beautiful bathroom. Will 100% be back.”

”We arrived later than planned because of multiple road floodings in and around Cardiff, but staff was really helpful, breakfast was tasty and the whole place was very cosy. We would have loved staying more Nights.”

”Great sized room and bathroom. Was little worried about the possible noise from pub downstairs, but it was not an issue. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Easy to get in and out, even during early mornings, when the pub was not open. Very helpful staff. Good accommodation near the city.”

”Hotellissa oli oma ravintola, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen. Aamiainen tyypillinen englantilainen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.”

”A very comfortable one night stay, lovely helpful staff, great good value food. The bed was comfortable and facilities were good. We were at the front so had a lot of road noise which we are not used too. I would recommend the hotel and pub”

”thank you”

”Great location. Great staff. Breakfast selection good, but finishes too early for staying on holiday, so missed some breakfasts. Some issues with bathroom: towel rail/radiator not working, extraction fan not working & strong smell of drains.”

”The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was terrible, toast burnt black and poached egg was solid and in edible, staff asked if I wanted another, I said as long it was not the same as the one that had been presented too me, it never turned up after about half an hour so I left, never to return”

”Perfect weekend away, rooms and pub are lovely, really lovely touches in each room. Pub was nice and had live music on Friday evening which was a real plus. Was very clean and staff were friendly!”

”Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for. Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room. Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room”

”Lovely place to stay with excellent staff and great bar food.”

”Hotel room was stylish and clean and lovely shower. Pub is very close to the airport and is a perfect stay before or after a flight (about 10-15 mins drive to airport). The staff were very friendly and helpful and they prepared us a takeaway continental breakfast as we had an early flight.”

”A very pleasant stay Room was lovely”
