”The location of Lakeland Village is amazing, walk to the beach, pier and pool for a family friendly vacation. However, the unit is not worth the price, and needs many updates and upgrades to make it comfortable. Motel quality bedding, and furniture. There were no fans to help with the intense heat. The unit was not vacuumed and everything felt very old and dusty.”

”We absolutely loved our time here. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The forest view was lovely and yet we were so close to the Heavenly Gondola. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the 6 bedroom Villa #11. We had a lovely view of the forest out the back and the Gondolas out the front corner windows. The listing does need to be updated for accuracy though. On the negative side there was no desk (although the listing said there was one). But, on the up side, the 6 bedroom listing said 4...

”Great condo on the lake with a private beach. Owner is easy to communicate with and he checked in to make sure our stay was going well. As advertised and in a great location. Well maintained property inside and out. We rented efoils and went scuba diving. Whole Foods is right across the street a d we ate in every night. Will be back for sure for summer and winter activities!”

”My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 days and never had to get in the car except to golf. We walked to the beach, dinner, entertainment and shopping. I would 100% stay here again. It is super clean. The management was on call at a moments notice and very nice. I can’t wait to go back.”

”This property has been neglected. Cigarette butts and dog feces on grounds--perhaps because there were no bins to dispose of waste. Sparse outdoor seating. Wiped up a water spill on the floor of our room with a paper towel and it came away filthy. The bed had as much motion as a water bed. No vanity in the bathroom so where do you put your toiletries? Sparse kitchenette with minimal utensils and strange mini-appliances. Convenient location but far from comfortable accommodations.”
