Das Wald Haus sijaitsee Myersin alueella South Lake Tahoe, CA. Se on täydellinen kotipesä niille, jotka rakastavat hiihtää Sierra At Tahoessa, maastopyörällä, lohkareella, vaeltaa ja tutkia Tahoea Kirkwoodista, Echo-järvestä Tahoe-järven rannoille. Myersin yhteisöllä on useita ravintoloita ja The Holiday -markkinat ostoksesi tarpeitasi varten. Paikalliset rakastavat: The Getaway Cafe, Myers Downtown Cafe, Divided Sky, Frescana Mexican Bistro.

Kodin yläkerrassa on avoin oleskelutila, keittiö ja ruokailutila, josta pääsee aurinkoiselle takakannelle. Valtava makuuhuone sijaitsee ylemmällä tasolla. Alustasolla on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja täysi kylpyamme. Suuressa televisiossa on ROKU ja se on älykäs televisio, joten voit käyttää suoratoistotilejäsi.

Yksityiskohdat:
Olohuoneessa korostavat korkeat holvikatot ja viihtyisä kaasutakka. Siellä on viltit, kun haluat käpertyä katsellessasi suosikkielokuvasi tai vain nauttiaksesi tulesta. Olohuoneen vieressä on hyvin varustettu keittiö, jossa on graniittilaskurit ja 5 polttimen kaasuliesi. Ruokapöytä on liukusäätimen vieressä yläkerran kannella.

Makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode, oma kylpyhuone porealtaalla ja erillinen suihkukaappi.

Kaksi alakerran makuuhuonetta jakavat täyttä kylpyhuonetta käytävällä.
Ensimmäinen makuuhuone on queen-vuode ja siinä on meriteemainen sisustus.
Toinen makuuhuone on suunniteltu lapsille. Siellä on kerrossänky, joka on parivuode alaosassa ja parivuode yläosassa.

Takapiha on täysin aidattu ja siinä on leikkirakenne lapsille (tarkkailkaa heitä heidän leikkiessään). Tahoe Paradise Park on lähellä ja siinä on leikkipaikka, Barron-järvi ja konsertteja kesällä.

Autotalli pääsee vieraille, tuo polkupyörät tai suksesi ja jätä ne turvallisesti autotalliin. Ajotie on pieni, jos ajat suuria maastoautoja tai kuorma-autoja, ole hyvä autoallas.
Omistajalla on rengasvideo sisäänkäynnin ja portaiden ulkopuolella.

Huoneeseen mahtuu korkeintaan 8, alle 5-vuotiaita lapsia ei lasketa.

Great Place but inaccurate description of beds

Nice property, clean, updated and nice furnishings. Had some toys for the kids and a nice deck and backyard. Neighbors were very nice. The only issue was that we expected 2 Queen beds but the master had a king (nice surprise) BUT the downstairs bed was a double and too small for our two adults so they had to separate :( It would be nice to have more hooks in the bathroom and a place to put shampoo etc. in the shower.

Never again. Rental house with no A/C! Bad idea.

89 degrees when we entered the house. The house. It was just as hot outside. No insulation? Let's just say it's good to be home. A/C is a must. This house has none. I wouldn't stay another day at a place without A/C. I can't get past that detail. Comfort is most more important than anything.

Clean, beautiful home, close to beach and stores

Our family consisted of 3 adults, a 1 yo and 4 yo. Great location, easy/fast communication with rental office. Booked this spot months ago when the pics for the playground set in the background were still up. Slightly disappointed the playground was no longer available on site. Primary bathroom shower wasn’t working but repair staff were quick to respond. The issue required a plumber but scheduling/waiting for one would take away from our 2 day trip so we opted out of the repair. Overall beautiful, cozy, clean home and enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the comfortable living room and nice, open kitchen. The appliances are new and very nice.The house heats unevenly. It was quite cold on the lower level where two bedrooms are, and got very warm upstairs. We had an issue during our stay where the driveway was not plowed all day, so we had to do some shoveling. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience because plowing was listed as part of the service. It was during the big, big snowstorms so I'm sure all of the plowing companies had their hands full.The master bedroom has some kind of mattress cover that feels plastic-y, not super comfortable. Overall, it was a nice cabin with a flat driveway and a nice, open kitchen and we enjoyed all of that.

Nice house, great location, very poor maintenance and cleaning

This house is a good size and suitable for two 11 yo, two 16 yo and 3-4 adults. The bedding and linens were comfortable and the location was very convenient. However, the property was in need of a deep cleaning and replacement of living room furniture and kitchen pots and pans. Very low quality appliances. The dishwasher didn't run with the pod. We found the floors to be sticky and generally in need of a good cleaning. The kitchen pots and pans were extremely worn with loose handles and needed replacing. Generally, the kitchen dishes needed to be completely updated. The jacuzzi tub was extremely dirty and was spewing sand and other dirt when used. It was gross and needed a good cleaning as well. My daughter's friend found a bag of chips in between the wall and the bed. The couches were extremely worn with cushions that were well beyond their life (plastic underneath holding it together). This property is well maintained from the outside but it seems to get a change of linens and emptying of trash between guests with not much else.

Nice layout & location & responsive property management. When we arrived there were not enough towels & an hour later we had towels & a wine opener delivered by staff. The property could use some updating & a few little perks like nicer linens, simple toiletries for bathroom, and overall update with decor. This property accommodated toddlers, teens & adults comfortably. Outdated pictures on VRBO. The yard was overgrown & weedy & there was no play structure which was a big sell for us when we booked.

Beautiful home, not so neighborly neighbors

It's difficult to summarize a vacation that has been 4 years in the making. The home is in a great location, not in town but just outside away from the traffic with its own grocery store. Prices in this neighborhood market are cheaper by the way. The home has enough room to park a crew cab dodge 1500 in the garage with a 14 foot trailer beside it. Same room in the drive way. This is where things got aggravating. Many of the homes in the neighborhood have boats or RVs on the side yard but for some reason we were not allowed to park a trailer beside this house. The neighbors make it very apparent that they do not want you there as a renter. We received a complaint the first day because of the trailer. I grew up in the south and brought up being respectful to everyone, but some of these neighbors will turn their backs on you when you wave at them. We even had a neighbor come out and blatantly count how many were in our group. I don't like pulling the race card, I believe these neighbors are just tired of having a rental here. Let's get back to the home. Very spacious, the living room area has enough room for the whole family to gather with a kitchen table and breakfast bar. There was some food already in the pantry and toiletries in every bathroom. But just like the description states, you should bring extra. Just enough towels also but there is a washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. There are two bedrooms that have tvs with all your streaming needs, the third bunk room does not have a TV. The backyard is nice, however there is no playground like the pictures show... our kiddos were sad. But, there were some kids toys in the back. Strang thing, there is no door from the house into the backyard. So if your in the living room you can either jump off the 2nd floor balcony or walk down 2 flights of stairs out the front door and through the side gate to get to the back. Many animals in town, saw a bear in town and another bear on the neighbors roof. A huge racoon the size of a medium sized dog visited us every night. We even had an angry neighbor tell us to turn off our flash light so we were reluctant to tell him there was a racoon in his yard. Great trip, when we were driving out, all the neighbors were so friendly even waving as we drove by. They might as well have been flipping us off. I do want to say there was one lady that apologized for the rude neighbors, another lady had a beautiful garden that was very nice. Stay at your own risk.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed with 6 family members including kiddos. The house was spotless and very comfy. We had plenty of linens. If you’re planning on cooking holiday meals I would bring tins, but the house has all essential needs. The property management was exceptional on communication. Great customer service when we needed them. We plan on booking again!

Great location, nice house in a quiet and friendly neighborhood

Overall experiences were great. The property management company accommodated our schedule to allow us check in two hours early. Also, the property is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, and yet still is accessible. We experienced a big snow during our stay and the road, including the driveway was cleaned the day after. One bad thing about the property was that the freezer was broken during our stay, it would not make ice and our ice cream were turned into slush. I wish it got fixed soon so that fellow travellers would not have the same experience. With this said, do not think this one "transient" thing will bring the whole experience to 4 stars, but a 4.5 star would be more accurate.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Fully stocked with the necessities needed for the stay.

We had a great time, the location was centralized from activities and not far away from everything. The only issue we had was with the deck not accessible because the snow was not cleared. Other than that it’s perfect for smaller families.
