Exactly as advertised

It’s about a 20 minute drive from all the restaurants and shops of South Lake Tahoe. We didn’t mind the drive because it was so quiet and peaceful at the house. Everything is as advertised. Our teenage grandsons were impressed when we opened the door. They thought it was a nice place. However, in the summer, The kids room gets very stuffy especially if you use the dryer. So, make sure the kids know how to either open the window (it’s double paned), turn on the fan, or keep their bedroom open so that they can get the fresh air from the rest of the house. Our grandsons were too shy to tell us that they were sweltering in there. So passing that nugget along. Everything was tidy and as advertised and the deposit was returned before the 14-day deadline.

Exactly what you think of as a cozy little cottage. We had a great time. It’s a little out of the hustle and bustle of the main drag which was perfect. Perfect spot to relax and unplug.

We loved this place!

We have stayed at many places all over Tahoe and this one now ranks high on the favorites list. The house is great, clean and comfortable. The front yard is lovely and the back deck was great to spend time on. We had never stayed in this area before and it was surprisingly well located! I would most definitely stay here again.

So clean! So cozy!

Amazing weekend at the cabin! I had read review about lack of internet service and uncomfortable beds and was a little apprehensive but the house could not have been any cleaner, carpet felt fresh, beds were so comfortable and clean with cozy flannel bedding. Kids had the best time playing in the front and backyard in the snow and enjoyed the vhs movies and game closet. We had no issue with cell service at all. We can not wait to visit again! Diane was great with communication and the check in/check out was very easy.

Welcoming Bear cabin!

SUPER CUTE bear decor! Very welcoming. BEAUTIFUL front and back yards with awesome deck. WELL stocked kitchen. VERY clean. EXCELLENT host response. PERFECT 4 day visit with our daughter who got a summer job at Angora Lakes Resort. HIGHLY recommend.

Cozy Cabin!

Very comfortable stay. stayed for 7 days

The property location was very easy to find coming in from Highway 50. Location is on a very quiet street that loops around back to the street you entered from. For joggers (like myself) this made for a nice circular run with some uphill and downhill grade. Home is very well stocked with supplies and kitchen necessities. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers and laundry. There is no television (just VHS tapes) no cell phone reception and no phone in the home. This was not an issue for us, as you can get cell phone service in town just 5-10 minutes away and we spent most of our time in and around the Lake. Evenings were nice and peaceful. There is also no air conditioning, which i am sure is not necessary 99% of the time. We just happened to be there the 1% of the time there was a heat wave. Mornings were cool though. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and we saved money by cooking/BBQ our dinners and doing laundry at the cabin/house. I would recommend this rental as it was comfortable and priced right. Thank you for the stay.

Cozy blast from the past!

Just so you know there is little to no cell phone service and the house has no WiFi. This was great for our getaway but if I had needed internet for a work emergency it would have been a pain. I wish this was a little more clear in the ad. I enjoyed no TV as well and got to teach my four year old what a VHS was and that you should rewind it before you put it away. We loved being able to sit out back and BBQ and relax on the deck but there are several spots on the deck that have weak soft wood, be careful. Two things would get me to go back to this house in a heartbeat, first is NEW mattresses. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and I often moved to the couch. Second would be to update the kitchen, the stove worked but was a struggle and the dishwashers was very loud. Set it for when you head out for the day. After everything this stay came out to over a few hundred a night for four nights and that is rather steep for what you will be getting. But if you need to escape it all sometimes price is not a factor.

Warm Cozy Spot, Felt Like Home

Close to the slopes. Great atmosphere. Comfortable and cozy living room area with tons of movies to choose from and a nice fireplace. Beds were all comfortable and plenty of room. Thanks for the stay!

Fantastic rental!

There was nothing we didn't love about this rental. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect. The locale could not have been better. Even though this was a holiday weekend, Tahoe was gorgeous and our home was a great spot to get away from the crowds. Thanks so much!!!!!

Cozy cabin for winter adventures

This home was in the perfect location... close to ski resorts and snowshoeing! The house was clean and cozy and we loved the great kitchen for cooking and the lovely living room for sitting by the fireplace! Diane was very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Homie and Comfortable

The Cozy home is delightful, the decor is adorable and its super clean. The home fit 5 of us very comfortably, its a perfect fit for a relaxing peaceful get away with friends, or a small family. Diane was also really great a responding quickly and answering all our questions, we felt very much at home. Overall we loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

Diane and Rob's cozy cabin is actully quite spacious for 4-6 people. The place is clean. The cabin is in the middle of the woods and very peaceful! I think the best part is the big porch with seats and grill. The place is equipped with anything you might need for your stay including sheets, towels, cookware and more! And the location is very close to the lake! We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you
