  • This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet has some of the absolute best lake views around! The open concept living, kitchen and dining room offers a granite rock fireplace, comfortable seating, vaulted ceilings, and large windows wherein the lake and sky seem to fill the room. Combined with the oversized back deck, the space is perfect for entertaining and leisure time. Common area amenities include year round hot tub and outdoor pool in the summer only. - 2 cars only Vhr Permit #332794

    The private community of Tahoe Tyrol is located near the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Our community of Tyrolean chalet style homes is conveniently located a few blocks below the tram at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, one easy mile to the lake, and one mile to the South Shore Casino area. This is a year round community which offers miles of scenic hiking and bike trails, beach and water activities, golf, fishing, boating and numerous ski resorts. Many fine restaurants and fun shopping are within 3 miles.

    At elevation 6,250 feet, this community enjoys spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the seclusion of a forest environment along with the convenience of easy access to recreation and shopping.

    Wifi is a free benefit for our guests. However, there will be no refund of rent for outages or inability to connect.

We loved the view. The deck was awesome. The property was close to everything. Really had a fabulous family time there.

Host was wonderful. Place was really neat and housed our family comfortably. Housekeeping was very minimal. Cobwebs and dust covered everything, we found dishes in the cupboard with food still on them, you could tell they came from the dishwasher and still put away dirty as well as dirty pans in the oven. Again house was great but possibly time to consider a new cleaning crew.

Spent the weekend in Tahoe for the very first time , we had all of our family staying too. It was very clean and as we were out exploring most of the day, it was a great place to come back to to relax and settle down. Thank you Lisa for the amazing hospitality!!

The house had great views and all the kitchen tools we needed for home cooked meals. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. I would choose this house again for future ski trips.

The property is older and outdated. Showers left a lot to be desired. TVs in bedrooms did not work. The main TV in the living area does not have a way to view local channels. There was a notice asking guests to take a photo of the hot tub/pool area key. We did as request and received an error message stating No such receiver. The property was okay considering the price. .

First the positives. The location of the home is great. You are only a few minutes from Stateline and Heavenly. The lake view off of the back deck is beautiful, especially the sunsets. There were only 4 of us but the home can accomodate 8 to 10 people comfortably.Negatives. We tried our best to keep the home cool during the day but it was really warm/hot inside. No A/C - just fans. The home is very outdated and very worn. The kitches and bathrooms need remodeling! The kitchen sink is disgusting and there are stains on all the countertops. The cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms are very beat up. The showerheads need to be replaced. All of the flooring needs to be replaced. If this home had a renovation then it would have justified the over 500 a night that we paid!!

We went in the house in Tyrone Village. The house itself was nice. They have a swimming pool on the property to go to that was nice, but you need to update the furniture. It’s so old and outdated. The carpet is dirty. Needs to be clean and smells the dryer didn’t work in. The house is very very hot. There’s no air conditioning. They need to add more fans to the rooms they need more sheets and towels, but everything in the kitchen they had you don’t need to bring nothing to cook. They have but the overall stay was good. It’s just a hot house specially in the summer. You’re gonna roast beds are kind of uncomfortable. They need to update the beds as much money as you got to go up there for a week they should afford to buy new furniture and new beds and have the carpet clean. That’s all I got to say about the house and you only have parking for two cars like this says on the paper it’s real tight but the people around are very friendly went to the pool a few times loved it. We’ll go again and rent from them, but not the same house maybe a different house more updated.
