”The room was great. We stayed in 1A. Clean and spacious. Just needs a mirror in the room so you dont have to stand with bathroom door open when drying hair. Breakfast was yummy. Plenty of continental to choose from. Staff very courteous and professional. ”

”Lovely little property with beautiful surrounding farms and scenery. Good facilities and a great shower. Kitchen was very well equipped. Second room was far too small for our 15 year old ... would be fine for a toddler. Great location for nearby attraction. If you want to enjoy and sit outside in the garden/gravel drive area you’ll need some furniture. ”

”What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again.”

”I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process”

”The shower was full of mold, the room stank of mold, the kettle was broken, the heater was hanging off the wall, the light above the sink was in bits, we didn’t feel safe. ”

”Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.”

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. ”

”The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. ”

”Room was filthy. Freezing cold all night even with windows shut, no radiator in room. Drug bags down the side of the bed. Stains on the duvet. Damp towel left on floor. Uncooked pizza on windowsill from last occupant so room clearly wasn’t cleaned. Entire room smelt of cigarettes. Avoid”
