”This location was enjoyable. The renovation of a former school into condos made our stay unique and fun. The place was spacious and clean, and very comfortable with the bonus of a washer and dryer. That made it even better! Cool town, good food from The Forge, Four Suns Fish and Chips, and Copper Range Depot. Would definitely recommend!”

”We were in awe once we opened the door to this place. Great for just the two of us. It had everything we needed and was very clean. We really liked the box lights for added light effects and the bed was very comfortable too. Nice shower and layout. Easy access to downtown. Parking was never a problem for us. ”

”This was our first trip bringing a dog to visit our MTU student. This was a nice affordable place. It is right next to the roadside park by the airport so plenty of room to walk the dog. The apartment had everything you need- a comfy bed,TV, well equipped kitchen. Host was responsive to messages. Apartment was 10 minutes to MTU and 10 minutes to Calumet- perfect location.we had fun playing the games and cards that were in the apartment ”

”The house was right in downtown, close to our favorite places to visit in Calumet. (Walking distance close.) We loved the authentic charm of the house. Also, the attention to detail in providing amenities for guests was exceptional. Truly. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well - that’s kind of important to us. Cleanliness was great and we were able to easily clean up after ourselves as well. We would stay here again in a minute. ”

”The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.”

”We were on the go for much of our week in the U.P., and this was a great place to land at the end of each day. Accommodations were just right - everything we needed, nothing we didn’t, and a terrific location. Our pup loved morning and evening walks on the trails, the lake was lovely, and during a warm week, Fred and Maria were thoughtful about making sure things were cool and comfortable. We’re looking forward to going back.”

”We stayed here while in town for our daughter’s wedding. The reception was right across the street at the Fire Hall. Obviously the location couldn’t have been any better! We had our 7 mo old grandson also and when he was fussy we had plenty of space to push him around in his stroller. Vern was a great host, very quick to respond to questions!”

”2 retired couples with small dogs looking for a place to relax and enjoy friends and each other and found it here. Amenities were all there. Very clean older farm type house on 40 acres with a pond. A trail is kept mowed to walk the acreage. Pond, Picnic table and fire pit a short walk from the house. Has grill provided. Enjoyed watching the deer walk thru. Beautiful sunsets.minutes from Houghton/Hancock and a short drive to Copper Harbor.”
