”It’s a very nice apartment. Felt like I was at home by the end of it. The neighborhood is nice too. Close to parks, museums, the lake, cafes, etc. It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station that takes you to downtown Chicago. Overall a pleasant stay.”

”Great experience overall. Check-in was easy and the unit was very well kept. Very happy that we were so close to so much public transportation. It is a little noisy for those who aren’t used to hearing the L train nearby. Parking is hard to find, but there is paid parking nearby and easy to access public transit. If you plan on parking your car for the full time you’re there.”

The location is near a police station and is in an upcoming neighborhood. Free parking was not too hard to find around the apartment building. Once we found a spot, we parked and tried to walk or uber as much as possible. ”

So great to have a place to park our car! The owner has the place decorated so nice and I loved all the special touches like travel maps and games and extra of basic needs! Everything was so clean too. ”

”Clean, simple space close to the parks at the waterfront (Millennium, Grant, etc) and several spots for coffee. A bit of an odd building location (it's in a dorm tower with a laundry space next door! Not noisy tho) but easy to access at all hours, nice view as pictured.”

”Incredibly clean and spacious apartment. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated having multiple bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was a short Lyft/uber from everywhere we wanted to be. Would definitely stay here again.”

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
