”What a wonderful stay.. Graham, Sarah and Claire were such lovely hosts nothing to much trouble very accommodating from checking in to checking out.. Breakfast was excellent each morning cooked to order and evening meals were fantastic especially the fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce was so yummy.. The rooms are clean with lovely bedding and fantastic views of the beautiful island.. Can't wait to go back.. ”
”Very cozy hotel with a fantastic family that runs it and makes you feel at home. Clean rooms with lovely views over the river or a neighboring garden. Quiet location, yet very central. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. Was a bit uncertain when ordering as I read some older reviews, but that was obviously in the past before this family took over. ”

We loved walking around the tranquil setting and making friends with the local sheep. Our host was friendly, attentive, and the food wonderful. ”This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. ”
