”We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property.”

”The room was small and cosy but clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was great. Good menu and cooked perfectly. There was not a big choice for breakfast. It was either a cooked Scottish breakfast or cereals but I think you could have had scrambled or poached eggs with toast if you wanted. There is a bar in the hotel which is frequented by locals who are very friendly. Had a great couple of evenings in there.”

”The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...
