”While the Hotel is in a super location it is in need of updating. There was no drawers in the room to put clothes in and room157 had water dripping from a light fitting in the bathroom. This has obviously happened for some time as there was staining on that part of the ceiling. I reported this to reception as we checked out. There was no lu brush and we had to ask for another toilet roll as only one half used was provided. The food was average. Not somewhere we would stay again”

”Servicable, but not great. Shower was falling apart, no one available on reception for check out. Corridors smelt of cigarette smoke and the fire alarm went off at 5:20 in the morning. The vending machine advertised was empty, there are stains on the ceilings and burn marks on the floors. Very much in need of a makeover.”

”The main complain is that the client service was not so friendly in the reception. The receptionists helped if required but it was evident that they were not happy serving you. ”

”Excellent place to stay when visiting the high peak area. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Only a small point to consider. Check the parking area if you have a large car as the parking is a little tight”

”I stayed in a room with a king size bed which was as very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice. All the staff were very friendly and one young lad who was training to work on the front desk, helped me with my check in and showed and helped me down some steps to my room with my suitcase and bags. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to use the facilities this time but I have used them many times in the past and enjoyed them.”

”Everything was so easy to book etc, £4 extra to park over night but again easy to sort Mattress was comfy on one side 😀, overall decent place from start to finish”
