”Room spotless, owner friendly”

”Upon Arrival we were given a friendly greeting by The Barman and also a local gentleman who was seated at the bar. The barman checked us in & provided us with the room key 🗝️. Gave us Breakfast Details Times etc. We stayed for 3 Nights Upon arrival the room was beautiful prepared for our arrival. We stayed in Room 2 Triple Room for three people. The room was nicely laid out and a great size accommodation for 3 people. The next morning our room was beautiful cleaned Towels restocked....

”We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in a beautiful location. Our room was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is well located, within walking distance to a main line station, bus network as well as a narrow gauge railway. There are also electric car charging facilities at a nearby car park. The food was good and all the staff were helpful and friendly.”

”The Location is Beautiful, Grounds are very well maintained with stunning views of the hills. The actual building we stayed in was fantastic for the space you get and the facilities. We made use of the bbq and the huge oven upstairs aswel as playing pool and table football. Plenty of beds which aren't crammed in, great for 3 small families or group stays. Can't speak highly enough, I will be going back hopefully end of Aug as just around the corner is a beautiful lake which is crystal clear and...

”We stayed at Old Posting Inn for 2 nights as wanted to explore the lake District area. We wanted a quiet, quaint village as our base, and the Inn was perfect for our needs. The dinner was excellent and the hosts were lovely. The location itself is15 mins from Cockermouth town centre, 30-40 mins from Kewsick, and 45 mins from Buttermere. All in all, it was a perfect holiday for us, and we will come again!”

”The hotel itself was in a run down condition and needs a lot of money spent on it. My room, had windows into the atrium so my view was of stairs and walls. It also meant there was no airflow, and on this very hot summer, it made it difficult to sleep or be comfortable in any way. The lights in my bathroom did not work, which I mentioned to the staff, and the door self closing mechanism did not have a soft close function so that I was woken each day before 5 am by the slamming of doors.
