”We’ve stayed here a number of times when visiting Fowey. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, the beds are really comfy the sea views are wonderful. Our room this time was suffering from some damp with the wallpaper peeling off a bit but it didn’t really detract from our stay. Breakfast is always lovely, although there was a very large loud group and perhaps it would be better if they were offered one end of the restaurant so the rest of us had a more relaxed experience! ”

”The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. ”

”Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. ”We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. ”Great little guest house and comes with a free car parking space. Donna was an excellent host along with Mia the friendly rescue dog. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts followed by a full Welsh or eggs on toast or a bacon sanwich etc. Deganwy is licensed so we were able to enjoy a drink or 2 in the evening. ”The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty.
