”Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.”

The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. ”We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable.”

”Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A...
Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus.
Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive.
Staff were all very courtious and helpful.
Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred.
We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area.
The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you??

Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive.
Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.”
