”Cute guesthouse convenient to Bourton-on-the-Water village. We were given Room 14, which was large and had a very spacious bathroom -- the largest by about 4X of any place we stayed in for the whole trip (5 hotels in different cities). The lodging includes breakfast, which was a full English breakfast if you wished ... not merely fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries (although they had those as well). It's an easy walk into the town, and we took advantage of the walking footpaths close by as...

”What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world.”

”The menu was limited, expensive and some dishes were poor. The room “Brewery” was small, limited storage, no fridge, tired decor and UNBEARABLY HOT. However must commend the staff for working through the heatwave. Particular thanks goes to Courtney who was extremely helpful and friendly. In summary hotel should investigate the installation of air conditioning or the use of portable air conditioning units for the summer months. The food menu/prices should be reviewed, The decor in the Brewery...

”The property was well positioned. The Cotswolds are BUSY, so it was great to have somewhere to stay out of the busyness. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was a great size (room 2). No aircon which was an issue in the latest heatwave. The staff did try to help by putting a fan in the room. We used the restaurant for dinner and there was a wide selection of choices. This can also be said about breakfast.”

”For a slice of history, you can’t beat the Porch House. A warren of comfy eating areas downstairs with halls leading out to the village. Clean charming rooms. Really nice staff that make you feel like the place belongs to you. And the wonderful “snug” for late night post up with a friend (or daughter in my case!)”

”Convenient location in the Cotswolds and able to take a group of five friends in two rooms. Character-filled old and quirky inn. It was a heat wave while we were there but the rooms were quite comfortable with cross breezes and electric fans. The restaurant was hot though, so we opted for the pub in Barrington beside the river instead. Everything was clean and the staff were lovely. It’s a bit noisy beside the road, but not too bad. We were able to trickle charge our car overnight as well.”

”This B&B was a nice surprise. The owner of the B&B welcomed us warmly and told some good tips what to see and eat in Bourton on the water. Breakfast was traditional English breakfast with ham and eggs. Would have stayed there another night but it was full booked the day after. This is the best B&B that you can find from Bourton on the water and I would recommend it truly.”
