Our group enjoyed everything about the Coastal Dream Beach House!!! The host suggested that we should see the beautiful sunset...which was just a minute walk from the guesthouse through the host's yard. The sunset was gorgeous! The guesthouse was immaculate and nicely decorated.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin-style was clean, very easy 2 minute walk to the beach, had cold AC yo escape the humidity, and was quiet.

Perfect!

Perfect location, steps away from the beach. Easy beach access. Owner in large house next door was very friendly and accommodating. Would love to come back!

Perfect get away

I was for the first time was able to take my kids on vacation, it was bittersweet due to why i could afford it. However this is an area ive been able to travel too with friends throughout the years. This home didnt disappointe. I will absolutely look forward to staying here again, whether it be with my children or friends! I truly cant thank the owners enough!

Spring Break

Booked for a long weekend for spring break with the family. Location and area were great. Everything in the property looked brand new. The property was exactly as advertised. Communication with the property management group was good. Access to the beach was perfect. Would stay there again.

Spring Vacation for 4

Everything was perfect! From check in to check out.....great location. Up to date facilities....kitchen had everything you would need and anything forgotten at home was found available in the house. Kitchen accessories -toaster, blenders etc were all available. Beach chairs were also available along with a wonderful grill for grilling ! Very clean and up to date. Highly recommend this location! Thanks for a great vacation!

Has potential

Unfortunately compare to our previous stay in the Ormond beach area - this one was a bit disappointing. It almost fit more in the bungalow / bachelors category. A big thing was the main building being renovated - initially parking was problem, then access to beach overgrown. The kitchen area definitely need some love - cabinets need re-paint or replacement. Some "cheapo" cutlery - never good sign if the handles of cutlery rusting. Main living area was nice. Oh and btw - furnace / aircon unit in the main bedroom area closet - not very to discover. It has potential but I think the owner should actually stay there and adres some issues 1st.

Nice stay

Overall we had a nice stay. It was nice being so close to the beach and having three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. However the place was very dirty when we arrived and there was very limited cleaning supplies and supplies in general. The floor was black when we would wipe something up. We ended up just wiping the entire floor with rags to get the grime off. There were dead roaches everywhere. There is no large table for eating. The beach access pathway was not maintained and very overgrown and uneven. Also there was a glass coffee and side tables in the living room which was a little scary with small kids because it was not sturdy. Again we enjoyed our stay but will likely not stay here again.

Loving Indian Shores

This is my second time within the past 30 days of being at this property. I continue to enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of the location. The accommodations were top notch, as usual.

Poor communication and state of property.

My family only stayed 2 of our reserved 6 days, as there were construction crews in the large home behind this guest house. Our cars were blocked in, windows around our guest house blocked on all sides, and crews started renovation work at 8am with forklifts, drills, saws, etc. None of this was communicated prior to checking in, and when we set up a call with the property management firm to discuss our concerns, no one called. When we finally spoke with someone, we were told our option was to leave, which we chose to do. Would not recommend working with this company or property, as we ended up finding an alternate property firm (Plumlee, who couldn’t have been more responsive or accommodating!) and staying somewhere close that was nicer with equal space and more amenities for less money.

Great location, house needed some attention

Location was incredible. Beach was great. House could’ve been cleaner, and the kitchen was very old. One of the tub/showers was in operable. The tub spout came off the wall when we turned it on. Maintenance came and fixed it and afterwards it leaked water on the other side of the wall. No response once I reported this issue. That was very disappointing. We thought about asking for a refund, but didn’t.

Loved This Property

I travel a lot and stay in many ABNB properties. The directions given for the property and how to get from place to place were spot on! The property was clean and private, just the way I like it. And the reading materials were a blessing as well. Definitely plan on returning for another visit.

Disgusting

STAY AWAY!! Disgusting!! This place is a mess. From exploding shower heads, selective hot water, dirty towels, peeling and chipped paint everywhere, to clogged tub drains and potential blood on the walls, this place is a dump. The only thing it has going for it is it’s location, however it is so close to a busy road that you will be bothered by the road noise. My pregnant wife and I had a late flight and only needed a place to sleep but we liked the pictures and figured we’d walk on the beach the next day. However, when we arrived from the airport at close to 1am, we found that the photos must have been taken some time ago since the place seems to have taken a beating over the years with little to no upkeep. The kitchen is grungy with a creepy locked door right next to the washer and dryer. The hallway is filled with peeling paint leading to the 3rd bedroom. There was a baggage sticker above the main bed as well from someone else, which did not give us any comfort in their cleanliness. In the main bathroom there was makeup on the main towel. When I went to rinse off the shower handle exploded in my hands after turning on the hot and cold water taps. I was left holding the handle while the hose wiggled about. I turned off that shower and went to the secondary shower with the tub, which even with their excessive caulking was still sagging out of the wall. While waiting for the water to get hot in that bathroom the tub started to fill up, looks like the drain is clogged… shower

Great location, needs some updating

The location is 5 stars all the way through. Biggest perk. The downside is that the house is dated and in dire need of updating. The kitchen is very sparsely appointed, we had to go and buy a pot to cook in when we arrived. It could have also been much cleaner when we arrived. We made the best of it, picked up a broom and a mop and after a quick once over it was ready for us. I believe it just changed hands in Nov 2023 so hopefully the new owners will do all the updating needed. Again, it’s an amazing location but it needs some love.

Need a little more

For the number of people this place can sleep, it is seriously lacking in kitchen ware. I would suggest bringing enough disposable products, plates, cups, eating utensils, for the duration of your stay. There were just four of us and I had to wash dishes every meal as well as coffee mugs every day.

Cute comfortable cottage

Three bedrooms with separate baths. Kitchen is sufficient for quick meals and warm ups. Close to the beach, but also to a busy road, Nice for a short get away. Needs some updating.

Our stay was great, the guest house was clean but worn, as expected in a rental, everything worked, just need to get a new frying skillet. The only deception was the pics of the beach chairs and umbrellas, removed the pics if not with agreement, the umbrellas are all broken, that’s my only complaint. The tree coverage was perfect kept the house cool.

Nice cottage at beach

Overall cute cottage and right at beach. Access to beach is through courtyard area of main house with owners sitting right there on patio on many occasions. Sprinkling system early limits access if wanting to be at beach for early morning. Be sure to bring garbage bags as there was only one available for a 2 1/2 day stay. Cottage is comfortable. Parking was tight with 2 cars- parking in owners driveway between 2 cones but manageable. The rental company is very responsive and nice.

Great house on beach

House was adequate for our needs. Air conditioning was excellent, beds and bedding were very comfortable. Only downside is that the exterior fits l doors open out for some reason, so you can't use any kind of standard door stop security devices.

Beautiful place if showers were updated and back door lock was repkaced. Reasonably priced and great location. Love the privacy, especially at the beach. Would love to come back.
