More than what is in the description

Stayed 21 days. Check-in and check out was so easy! The house was supplied for a perfect getaway, doggies bags, laundry, dish, toiletries, etc. The beds were amazing bamboo foam mattress, the master shower is great for tall people, couch was in great shape, loved the kitchen, but the ice maker needed replacing, washer and dryer we brand new high quality! Bedding soft, my stay had 8 shower towels, lots of washcloths, no kitchen towels. Very secure home outside and in. Neighborhood is secure and wonderful for night walks! The lake has lots of grass, but we caught a bass most nights we were out there. Lake mosquitoes are a real thing! But the home does a great job keeping them at bay. Outside needs updating, but inside is very welcoming and feels like home! Despite the small hiccups, I’d stay here again. The host was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with during my long stay! Eco friendly home. The home was set up with intention. We really enjoyed our stay all month!! Beautiful sunsets!!

Wonderful home in a convenient location

Our family of four stayed here for five nights in April. The house worked out perfectly as a home base for visiting our family who lives in Palm Harbor. It is a well-cared for home with great amenities and beautifully located on Lake Tarpon. Highly recommended!

Lake home stay

The property is in a good & easily accessible area in the lake. Very close to Tarpon Springs & plenty of shopping restaurants nearby. The lake view is beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. Lots of birds & lake wildlife are visible from the patio & dock.There were a few hiccups upon arrival regarding the cleaning crew, but the owner did quickly address the issue. The property is pretty well stocked. Only suggestion would be to provide some acrylic or Plastic glasses for taking outside on the patio.Overall a very nice stay & the host was very responsive!.

Excellent all around!

This property was perfect for us! We were in Tampa to visit family and needed a place to stay nearby. The home we rented was very well laid out, immaculate, and functional. It was right on the lake, making the backyard a pleasure to view. The owner was extremely accomodating and easy to reach with questions I had. If I were to nitpick the only improvement I could suggest is that a full size coffee maker would have been useful. The one provided makes only one cup. Not really a big deal, but it would have been nice to have coffee for everyone in the unit. Other than that the lake front home was great!

Comments About Our Stay

Our stay at the Tarpon Lake Shore Estates was pleasurable. The house is well furnished and within easy distance to shopping and vacation activities. Keyless entry is a plus. The house and grounds were clean and well kept. We did note that the towel bars in both bathrooms were installed higher than usual making them difficult to use. The host requirement to use the black towels (actually washcloths) to avoid staining the white towels was a cause for concern as one can not gauge the cleanliness of black as easily as white towels. A note was shared with the Host.

Great place!

Communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed our 3 nights here. Beautiful view of Lake Tarpon. Very clean. Kitchen nicely equipped. Beds were comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Recommend!

Beautiful lakefront home.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood right on the lake, we brought our 2 dogs who loved watching the abundant bird life from the dock. I put my kayak in each morning to bass fish and had good success. House was very clean, comfortable beds and well stocked. Property manager was very responsive by email. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to relax

We were looking for a weekend getaway to relax by the water; from the minute we contacted the owner he was quick to respond and super friendly; the check in process was very easy, the house was very clean and in a great location. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the deck and the outdoor swing. The welcome basket was a nice surprise, and we had plenty of stuff for the kitchen, and extra towels in each bathroom. My husband caught bass from the dock. We traveled with our dogs and they enjoyed laying by the sliding glass door looking out into the lake. We had a couple minor issues and I contacted the owner and he responded right away. The neighborhood is quiet and it feels peaceful when standing outside enjoying the lake view. This was the stress free weekend getaway we needed and was worth every penny. We would love to visit again in the near future

A very nice place to stay

This is a cute house that worked beautifully for our stay. The neighborhood is very nice and the house has a great view of the water (although with a July visit it was too hot to sit outside!) I would select this house again.

Very clean and well decorated home with a fantastic view of the lake, even from the couch! Beds were comfortable and clean. Location was close to everything. The welcome basket and toiletries were a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

The Best!

We stayed 3 nights at the end of May into June 2023. It is hands-down by far the cleanest rental we have stayed in. The owner was quick to answer any of my questions before and after I arrived. There’s a cute little welcome basket on the kitchen bar. They have everything you could possibly need to cook with. The mattresses were an absolute dream and they were memory foam. They were firm, but yet so soft and the linens were extremely clean. It actually felt like someone just completely redid the home from top to bottom. Everything is so pristine, it may be a small house, but it is beautiful and so well-maintained. We had our two dogs with us and they loved it out by the lake. All the pictures they show you are spot on. I spent most of my time sitting in the swing at the waters edge. The outside furniture was comfortable and well-maintained. They even have a system that sprays for insects. It goes off a couple of times a day. That is a really nice touch especially here in Florida. The view is beautiful. The neighbors are extremely quiet. I felt like we were the only ones on the street. Although we didn’t use many of the extras, they are worth mentioning the ironing board and iron was actually really clean. There a toiletries for you in the bathrooms. The towels are as white as snow and they were plenty of them. There were soaps in each soap dish and dish washing liquid etc . It really felt like I was staying in a brand new home. It felt more like a home then a rental.
