”Clean, warm room. Big bathroom. TV signal unreliable but didn't bother us. Stayed in the rooms in annexe over-looking lovely gardens. Walls a bit thin so could hear upstairs a bit. Plenty of parking and walkable to Hooton station.”

”I liked the design of the room, amenities and the A/C worked perfectly in the greatest heat outside. It was moden and quiet inside the room. Our windows were facing the car park and motorway services, so occasionally a noise from cars could be heard. But we slept well and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could do with some restoration soon, as signs of wear could be visible. But overall for the price we paid and convenient location it was a very good choice.”

”The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t. The shower head was a bit loose and out of my reach and, at one point, it was actually pointing at the wall with most of the water running down the wall. We definitely would not return and...

”This should have been lovely, spa bath in room, bathrobes etc but unfortunately it was disappointing. Tied decor, no bathroom lock, the noisiest flush on a toilet I’ve ever heard, bath plug didn’t fit properly so water drained away, window handle broken so it couldn’t be opened (it was over 30degrees that day). The reception area smelled like a carvery which was off putting. My biggest issue was that we booked a room specifically for the 3 single beds but it was made up as a double and a single...

”The staff were all lovely, very friendly. Simon, Freya and all the people we met were great. The room was very comfortable a great shower and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was superb and cooked to orderr”

”The bedrooms were quite shabby. The carpet was stained, the TV remote didn't work, nor did the bathroom fan and the dressing table chair was worn through. In my husband's room the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied and the wall heater was very marked and dirty. Every other guest we spoke to had similar stories. To be fair, the public rooms were in a better condition.”

”All good on arrival , room not ready so went for a drink, back at 15.00 room ready(320) looked great but stank of sewage, wife complained ( I can't speak), relocated to room 220, nice room, spotless. All ok until shower time, only one towel, wife complained again, rectified. Went for dinner, all good except tables in bar area not cleaned and had debris on them. Sat down to dinner, ordered food and bottle of chateau neuf de pap, food came, no wine, didn't have any neuf de pap, ordered...

”Very friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean, well-maintained and plenty of tea/coffee in the rooms! The food in the bar/restaurant was very good with plenty of choice. Breakfast was fine - could have done with more choice of pastries, vut the bacon roll was delicious!!”
