”Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen und bei der Anfahrt über das Grundstück freut man sich schon auf die typisch britische, alte Hausanlage. Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. Wir hatten jeder die preiswerteste Zimmer Kategorie gewählt, gute Matratzen, das Fenster ließ sich öffnen und super war auch das warme und sehr saubere Bad. ”

”From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

”Gorgeous hotel room right in the heart of Marlborough! We booked the room with the golden bath which was such a treat. The breakfast offering was very generous and the room had everything you could need (it would be helpful to have some bath products by the side of the bath, as the shower gel etc in the shower were attached to the wall which made it tricky). Otherwise 10/10!”

”Motel is beautifully designed and diner offers great food options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only criticism that we have, is the room was not cleaned to a high standard after initial arrival ( on arrival the room was spotless ). The days following there were multiple signs that the room had not been cleaned properly. However, I would stay again. ”

”The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. ”

”Clean room, no staff as it was all done remotely. Dreadful shower, no power at all. Broken side light and the smallest TV ever!”

”Great location, free parking and easy walk up to the small town centre and surrounding countryside. Staff were very helpful. Nice old property but a little dull sometimes and lacked character. Clean though. There were issues with water pressure, effecting showers etc. this was explained on arrival, so was not a surprise. Breakfast was unexciting and just ‘okay’ with overcooked scrambled eggs, dry bacon and a pot of beans that was more juice than beans. A comfortable stay despite the quibbles.”
