I usually love Motel 6s but this particular location was unfortunately a bit of a letdown. I paid for a premium queen room and the room next to ours (with the adjoining door between the rooms) had what I can only assume is a long term guest who had 2 cats. Our entire bedroom STANK of cat pee and poop. On top of it, the cats started meowing loudly around 5am which woke me up, and then kept me up. I feel like we could have been warned of this and asked whether we were okay with being roomed next to that, because I would have happily downgraded to a regular queen as long as we didn’t have to deal with the smells and the noise.
The other complaint I have is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in all the rooms around you. Our room was 203 so not sure if this is the same for all of their rooms but I do not recommend it.
Other than that, staff was wonderful, everything was clean, and the pool was also clean and enjoyable.
