”This is a clean, well maintained property. It is close to plenty of places to eat. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure.”

”The room smelled smoky. The noise was too much at night. Could hear everything, people just walking and speaking normally - not even loudly. The AC was very loud too as it turned off and on. Breakfast was horrible. Hash browns were really underheated. Cold to the touch. Coffee seemed old it had bad taste. The biscuits were tough. Eggs were tasteless. They could have used a little salt or pepper.”

”We stayed here for the Texas Tech graduation and it was perfect! Close to the University and lots of good eateries. It was really clean, had a great breakfast and a really helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!”

”The breakfast had the usual offerings. The room was clean with LV flooring. Much more sanitary than carpeting. The AC kept us cool. The hallway was quiet. They accept pets which is a big plus for us. We always stay at this hotel when coming to Lubbock.”

”Parking lot is lit up like a Friday night lights which is good because the parking lot had some sketchy folks. The hotel did not have drinking water because the vending machine was empty. The shower has no door or curtain so water accumulated on the floor. ”

”The hotel is very tired. Our bathroom had a leak around the commode. The tub looked terrible. Had an excellent breakfast and very nice and accommodating staff. We have stayed at other Elegante properties and this was the worst. For what we paid. We could not recommend this property.”

”This property is a gem for sure. The suite was a good size with separate living, bathroom and bedroom areas. Very nice stay and comfortable bed! There is no on site staff, they text you the room code. That was nice too.”

”Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Location is great for Texas Tech visits as well as easy access for traveling around Lubbock. Property is a bit dated but our towels were fluffy fresh. We stayed at the Overton during spring graduation so room pricing was quite inflated. Would stay there again if visiting Lubbock. ”

”Room was dirty, window A/C unit was hanging half off, room smelt like cigarettes, and the ICE machine was out of order. Also it was stated online the pool was open and the lady at the front desk said it was closed. Come to find out they didnt want anybody in it because they just cleaned it.”

”Old building that needs a better quality renovation. You can see the different paint colors where the walls and ceilings are patched. The AC was adequate but old and loud. The staff was very nice and everything was clean. ”
