”The only problem is the location of the property. Don't get me wrong.. You was outstanding and fabulous. The time it takes to get anywhere is 40minutes to an hour. If we were bikers and they had electric bikes then it's perfect. PLAN well ahead to go to dinner, shop in town or do anything outside of the resort. This place was truly special but the moving around quickly was the only issue. I would recommend and also I would stay here again and again. ”

”We had a great experience at Budget Host Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, which we truly appreciated. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for traveling with our 15-month-old. It provided much-needed extra space for naps and early bedtimes.
The location is ideal, being close to downtown and within walking distance of Shepler's Ferry. This made getting to Mackinac Island super convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again!”

”We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and nice, though there was a strong perfume scent. The pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great. The bonfires with s'mores supplies provided were awesome. The only thing is that the beach is not swimmable and there is no beach where you can walk to the water. There's huge boulders that separate the upper part and lower part of the beach, but the part by the water is mucky and muddy and not crossable. Otherwise, great stay. Would stay again. ”
”This was a lovely property. Only issue was the TV. Could barely get it to work. The front desk was of two opinions as to how to get it to work -- we lost out in the process. Get better remotes or better train your personnel to operate what you have.”
”Our room was in great condition and clean. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast…ok. The room was extremely small and hard to get around with so many people. We did not use the pool, but our friends did and it was super cloudy, which looked gross, but could have been from an over abundance of chemicals? Either way, cleanliness is always my top concern and this place was just that, so I would definitely stay here again. ”
