”We had a poor experience here. The heating in the cottage didn't work, so we were uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. We asked for help as soon as we checked in, but the host was unresponsive. There were small beetles in the bed, there was a leak from the base of the toilet, and the front door lock was faulty, so locking and unlocking the front door was tricky. Everything felt damp. We haven't heard anything back from the host when we identified these issues.”

”I had a wonderful 5-day stay at Byre Cottage in North Yorkshire. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, and full of character, with a lovely fireplace that made the evenings especially relaxing and warm. The location is absolutely stunning, set between peaceful farmland and rolling hills, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Waking up to the fresh countryside air and quiet views each morning was truly refreshing. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside”

”Great little place to stay whilst attending a wedding at nearby Lake Henry. The lodge is immaculately clean and finished to a high spec. We received a fab little welcome pack too which meant breakfast on both mornings were sorted for us. It is so quiet and dark which enabled a great nights sleep too”
