”Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards.
On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves.
The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. This is a hygiene issue that should not be present in a paid short-term let.

”This was our first spa type hotel we have stayed at in the UK. Loved every minute of it. The pool and the saunas were wonderful, the staff very friendly and helpful, the room very comfortable, the bed excellent. Breakfast was very good, too, especially the sausages were delicious.It was only about 20 mins from Manchester airport. From now on if we need to stay close to the airport, the Mere would be our first choise. Ticked all the boxes, top marks.”

”The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! They supply a fan in the room too, which is helpful for anyone that needs some airflow for comfort. We had breakfast in the morning and the food was delicious and fresh.
