”There is noooo customer service. The male at the front desk has a horrible attitude and seems to be in a bad mood at all times even the way he answers the phone is so unprofessional. When I booked it said breakfast was included but there is no breakfast.”

”This is a very old, historic hotel so I came to it with some skepticism. I had some family visiting from the East Coast and wanted to spend a few nights in San Francisco and usually stay in the large chain hotels. I wanted to do something out of the ordinary and this hotel looked very cool. I noticed it was built in 1908 and started to wonder about amenities and overall upkeep. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the property, rooms, breakfast area and the butterfly bar. ...

”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay ”

”The hotel is very unique and worth a stay. The staff was great. The breakfast was good and convenient. The parking was extremely convenient and reasonably priced. The location was perfect with a short walk to Japantown, Polk Gulch, and Pacific Heights. Maybe twice that walk to Union Square and Civic Center. The beds in our room were overly soft, not sure about others.”

”Recently renovated with clean linens, fresh bathroom and shower. Coffee maker in room refrigerator but no microwave. Conveniently located on Market Street in the Castro with reasonable rates and free parking. Street traffic contributes to noise, but each room has separate AC. No noisy gross window units! This lends to nice quiet sleep conditions. We have stayed there several times this year and plan to return love this place.”

”Got located to street side room with one parking garage(small car stall) unit 49 Overall room was okay. Some dirty door handles and kitchen utilities. Room it self was okay but the noise level and next door noise drove me crazy. Next door unit 50 looks like long term stay. Beer cans all over the haul way and cigarette butts every where. During sleep (late night) woke up to next doors noise. Some foul languages and cigarette smell would come in to our room I do not recommend this hotel to people...
