”Adorable little cottage just a few minutes from Lake George. Perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I! The hosts were extremely nice, made sure everything was clean for when we arrived, and even left us some tasty donuts on the kitchen table! Would absolutely stay again next time we take a trip to the area!”

”Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

”3rd time staying in the cabins owned by Dan and Amanda and it was the perfect getaway for me, my husband and our 2 dogs, Jovie (Basset Hound) and Sadie (Chihuahua Mix). This was our first time staying in this cabin, which is just slightly closer to the little beach. We cooked on the grill several times, made fires in the fire pit almost every night, had our coffee on the deck every morning, and spent 5 of our days on the lake because the weather was spectacular! ”Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road. Road is 45 mph so people are hustling on the road but you can see a good half mile or more in each direction. Driveway is steep and not a ton of room,...

”Wonderful spot!! Very family friendly. My kids loved the beach, and kayaking! Convenient spot to many different activities. Cozy little camp. Just what we needed for a little get away ”

”A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

”The cottage with 2 bedrooms was a cute tiny cottage. I didn't receive an email for the code to enter the cottage. After 2 phone calls, we did communicate with someone. We asked if we could leave the boat parked, and the person said it would be okay. Appreciative of that! Once inside the cottage, we found no toilet paper at all and had to go to the store. After a 4 1/2 hr drive to get there, we had to hit the road again. My family just slept, took showers and watched tv there. We did not use the...

”House was perfect for 3 people for two nights. Screened in porch was nice for when it rained. Bedding area in loft area is more for children, ceiling is low.”

”Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. ”

”Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. ”

”The cottage was in excellent condition, and I really appreciated the quality of the kitchen supplies, grill, and bedroom furniture/beds. I wish the weather had cooperated better for us to be able to use the fire pit, but overall this was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at using VRBO!”
