”Room was very clean, staff was very helpful, downstairs is very beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. I liked that the staff all worked together to help us. We had issues with a taxi to the stones (777) and they were very helpful. They even called a taxi for us to pick us up at the stones as the shuttle had not yet started. ”

”We are both professors and visited Salisbury in January 2026. We stayed one night, had dinner and enjoyed the bar in the property and breakfast served in our room --nice touch and attention to the guests, (the kitchen was going to be under renovation for a few days). ”Very friendly welcome into a gorgeous country, cozy pub with roaring fire in lounge. Really lovely bedroom, nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable bed. Just a lovely atmosphere. Restaurant food looked amazing although we ate out as meeting family in the area. Breakfast was lovely ”

”We have stayed at The Old Mill may times & since it's changed owners it still provides comfortable, welcoming & cosy accommodation. The breakfast is very good & large, freshly cooked but now quite an expensive extra. On the whole really happy with our stay.”

Short walk to other sights (The Salisbury Museum, Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Stonehenge Tour Bus). Loved the nature and the medieval city all around. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely visit again.”

”The ownerfamily was very friendly and helpful. Lady of the house even booked a table for us in the nearby pub. The room was pretty big, the doublebed was comfortable, but the "lonely" bed wasn't so much comfortable. Our breakfast was traditional english style, although pretty salty and greasy. Our roomview was amazing towards the garden.”
