”The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, which didn't feel like they were actively being worked at. Almost felt like time was standing still. Hallways smelled like filler materials, but the room itself was small and cosy. Unfortunately there was no hot water coming from the shower nor from the tap in the bathroom. TV did turn on, but the picture was glitching due to some cable/antenna interference or damage. Otherwise nothing more to complain about. Not too bad for the cheap price...

”Liked that it was fairly secluded and quiet in the bear hut. Though if the guests in the next hut were outside you would have heard everything. The spider in the bed was definitely not ideal. Daughter stayed in the room inside the house and could hear the folks above her.”

”Lovely location in the woods, just a short drive of the A9. Perfect to explore the north of Scotland. Close to Golspie, Dornoch and the Black Isle over the Firth. Located on the NC500. Need to go back to explore further North, Wick, Thurso and the 100 miles to John O' Groats. The breakfasts were delicious. The Terrace room was spacious and our hosts were excellent.”
