”This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.”

Lovely room with everything you need for a comfortable stay including fresh flask of milk each day.
Good menu choice in the restaurant with fresh fish and local meat all delicious. Plentiful breakfast of very high quality.

”We had a very pleasant stay. Every member of staff seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was clean if a little dated and the bed was extremely comfortable .. We enjoyed using the pool and the changing room was fine. We did not have pound coins for the lockers and the hotel is cash free. Maybe advise guests on check in to bring a coin?
Food choice was limited but we enjoyed our dinner . Breakfast was fairly standard but plentiful and well organised

The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. ”

”The room was big enough and clean and the bed was good. However, the temperature was much to high. The mobile fan had no effect(just moving the warmth) en was noisy. I missed the fridge and I would have expected more than a bottle of soap in the bathroom since the price for the room was relatively high.”
