”one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Chicago. Great staff. Great restaurant and rooftop bar on the fifth floor. Location is within walking distance of most everything on Michigan Ave. Room was great , bathroom great, beds great. Would and have already highly recommended this hotel to several people. The only suggestion I have is with the shower products. Accessibility to the pump on the shower products is difficult to pump . If the bottles were a little higher in their holders you could...
"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
