Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. Great views from the lodge and clean rooms with lots of amenities. Windermere Lake was a 25 minute drive which was really convenient and Lancaster was a 15 minute drive. Although it was a short stay, we really loved our time here!

The hotel was very beautiful old building. The apartment was spatious, bathrooms were very nice, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature in the room was too high. Windows couldn't be kept open because of the terrible smell from the cows next to the hotel!
