Hostellit – Sydney South = Etelä-Sydney

”Things got stolen on two occasions. I asked the staff to check the cctv and they seemed very reluctant and then agreed to. They said where I was located was the one area they don’t have cctv. Overall I felt quite unsafe when staying there and the staff didn’t take my concerns very seriously at all, I think because they’re all travelling themselves and staying at the hostel. It doesn’t seem like there is any authority or professionalism. Other things. No towels to rent, but then saw others...

”We checked in late due to our flight was delayed nobody in check in counter. Receptionist came after 30 minutes and we are able to get in. It was sunday evening, it was a happy hour with a small space to walk due to guest are in the walkway drinking, singing and smoking weed. It was peaceful and for us conservative traveller the ambiance we don’t like. But we some nearby hostel because we extended our stay in Sydney for 2 2 nights it was calm and quiet unlike the Original. In that particular...

”Seems to attract a certain crowd as when I walked in, music was VERY LOUDLY being played and it was already 9pm. Did not make me feel safe at all. Rooms were quite messy and just so badly designed. Staff doesn't explain much and doesn't tell you theyre charging you a deposit before doing so. With the amount you are paying, there are so many more convenient and better hostels.”

”Private room was clean & comfortable. The location was an easy metro trip into city centre and airport.”

”This hostel has age-limit for the guests accommodation, it would discourage people to book it . Normally age-limit policy with hostel should just for recommendation. Hope this hostel owner change the attitude for the guests. Thank you. ”

”I am very pleased with my stay at this hostel! Room had ensuite and nice view from the window and beds were comfy. Breakfast was definitely worth the money! It had coffee, tea, apples, pears, toast with different spreads, 4 types of cereal plus milk, yoghurt and muffins. The view from the rooftop terrace is phenomenal! Such great location! Only minus side would be non-free luggage storage.”
