”The hotel is right in the middle of the plaza so location was great. However, it was very difficult to figure out where to park. The hotel entrance only has valet parking. We had to go out to find the parking lot which wasn't well marked. Signage was poor. There were many entrances and exits in and around the hotel that we got lost trying to get back to the parking garage (with fees). Otherwise, the hotel is clean. We were only there for one night for a birthday party within walking distance, so...

”We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

”Love the place and have stayed many times. Great concept and venue. Down side they are letting it slip a bit. One of the porch swings is dangerous and about to break. Someone will get hurt. The stairs are dangerous with mats overhang as trip hazards. I have no idea why nothing is done before someone gets hurt. My room was not cleaned as requested on my last night. Got back too late to remedy. Little things like decent basic ping pong paddles are no longer in the budget? I truly hope they turns...

”Loved that they are dog-friendly. Front desk/bar server gal working the night shift on Saturday, 6/27 was not very pleasant. She seemed annoyed the two short interactions I had with her.
The boys enjoyed the smores’ treat. Bummed the hot tub was not working but still had to pay the “resort fee”.
Good location, 10 min walk to Target, Starbucks and plenty of restaurants.”
