”The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. ”The cottage was perfect for our needs and made exploring Inverness a breeze as it was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city along the river. The stroll down to Ness Islands was a delight and we enjoyed the hospitality at the Waterfront gastropub which was a couple of minutes from the cottage. ”Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.”
