”Loved the property. Beautiful and charming in and out. Perfect stay on vacation though breakfast starts a bit too late 8am for business days. They can accommodate a cold breakfast for you earlier upon request. ”
”Lovely, historic boutique hotel in Ayr. Small, but nicely appointed room, convenient location. Near the beach, close to transportation, etc. Walked to a beautiful golf course, Belleisle, and played there on a spectacular sunny day. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant. Very pleased with our choice of accommodations. ”

”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc.
It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”
”Vanhanaikaista arvokkuutta huokuva paikka. Vaihtelevalla kesäsäällä rivitalohuoneisto oli sopivan lämpöinen, mutta jäähdytysmahdollisuutena on vain tuuletusikkunar, joten helteellä voi tulla kuuma. Tilat ovat vanhan tyyliset mutta hyvin kunnossapidetyt ja siistit. Oven lukko lienee viktoriaanisen ajan peruja. WC oli siisti, mutta invasaavutettavuuden vuoksi suihkukaappi, suihkuverho yms. puuttuivat ja lattian kaato johti pöntön eteen, joten suihkun jälkeen lattia oli loppupäivän...
”This was the most elegant and b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was magnificent and the owner/operators were fantastic. They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. ”This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...
”We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing”
”This is a modern hotel in an historic house with a fantastic restaurant attached. Not sure if the two are owned by the same group but probably. The check in is all virtual, no hotel staff are on site, and it went smoothly however I did have to step outside to get a decent cellular signal in order to check in. Close to the railway station. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommended!”
