”Extremely poor communication ”

”Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. ”

”Visable damp on the bathroom wall by the shower and a very strong smell of damp in the downstairs area including bedrooms. The owner tried to disguise the smell with air fresheners and by leaving the windows open but the smell of damp was still immediately apparent on entry. Had we been staying longer than 2 nights and not arrived so late in the evening on the first night we would have left. It was a real shame because everything else about the property and surrounding area was beautiful, but...

”A free drink instead of room service is an excellent idea. Guests really don’t need room service every day if staying multiple nights and, if so minded, can fold the ends of their toilet paper into little triangles themselves! ”

”I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep. I would highly recommend.”

”Room was basic but functional. It lived up to my expectations. Ideal for an overnight stay. Shower was warm and practical.”

”Luxurious comfy apartment in the heart of the delightful small town. Fully equipped with everything youll need. Never any trouble parking directly opposite the property, though it was outside of peak period. My only complaint is local takeaways not staying open long enough. ”

”We absolutely love this hotel as it has fantastic views to the lake, lovely comfortable rooms and excellent food. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them making the whole stay a real pleasure. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel as a great place to stay.”

”The hotel room was lovely. Couldn’t fault it. Hotel its self is lovely. Nice chilled atmosphere. Where it lets itself down is food. Dinner on first evening was terrible. Chips hard and overcooked. Onion rings hard and dripping in fat. Mussels overcooked and way too salty. Breakfast next morning was lukewarm. ”
