”Looking for a convenient location to stay while over watching the bikes at Oulton Park. Brilliant location and brilliant stay. Rooms were clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Staff were brilliant, both behind and front of bar. Ate there 2 nights, fantastic both times. Another cracking pub within walking distance. Continental breakfast spot on. Would I stay again, without a doubt. ”

”Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful. The pool and spa area was excellent. The gardens are lovely. The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! ”

”Dear Moxy Chester Management, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent stay at Moxy Chester, which was unfortunately quite disappointing and uncomfortable. We have stayed at other Moxy hotels on multiple occasions and have always had positive experiences, which makes this stay particularly disappointing. ”Lovely clean room, staff very friendly especially the chef at breakfast. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast options regularly topped up so everything is nice and fresh. 5 minute walk to tourist attractions, bars and restaurants however still in a quiet. Only tiny thing for me is that I like bread rolls and cheese slices with my breakfast and they only had sliced bread (brown and white) but that was a tiny point :)”

”I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities. ”

”Nice room, clean and well looked after. Could have done with more tea and coffee, that felt a bit stingy. Only real problem was a persistent fire alarm on one night, which I'm sure was a straightforward fault, but it was disruptive.”

”Excellent location and friendly staff! There was a lovely lady called jules on the reception who was very helpful throughout my stay. Only bad thing is that the windows in the room don’t open so air can feel quite foisty but the aircon was good”

”The room was spacious, large beds, ensuites and a lovely big living space. The lighting was a bit dim, more lamps would be good. Small things didnt work well, ie, no bedside lights, front door wouldnt lock (except for the yale), a bulb was out, we scouldnt get the phone to reception to work and wifi didnt work either. Some of the blinds need fixing too. However, lovely linen, comfy beds, great location and quiet. ”
