”Americans & Brits all met for a large family reunion at Kinblethmont! The stay was perfect. Communication with Jess & Gem was easy, helpful and kind. The house was absolutely beautiful and always had exactly what was needed- an extra tablecloth, an immersion blender, sharp kitchen knives, etc! Local recommendations from Gem were all spot on as well. A glorious stay!”

”We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. ”This is modern pared back hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building looks very new, nice modern decor. The breakfast initially looked a bit sparse but what was in offer was plentiful and excellent quality. The bacon and sausages were particularly good. The rooms had everything you need for a business trip or a long week end. It is near the V&A, and Shackleton and Scott 's ship. Right beside the train station and just a short walk to the bus depot”

”Amazing hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The restaurant at the clubhouse was superb with stunning views (lovely that the shuttle takes and picks you up). The bell team charged our electric vehicle which was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with excellent choices. Our spa massages were superb. Golf will be on our agenda next time since the courses look great (we played St Andrews this visit). ”

”Great really accessible place to stay. Comfortable room, lovey breakfast. The only slight downside were that the single beds (in the twin room) seemed on the small side, they were very narrow and not very long, I am 5ft 9 and my feet were hanging off the end! ”
