âWe (me, my husband and our 15 year old son) had a short but wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan in July. The hotel is located in short walking distance from the train station and shops, restaurants and attraction are just around the corner. We had the penthouse suite with balcony, which was absolutely gorgeous. The room was modern, clean and spacious. Our son really liked that he had his own space and own door to the balcony. âExcellent location in the old city, just around the corner and you are on Piazza Maggiore. Exceptionally friendly service, all staff members were very kind. Clean and nice room, high quality bedlinen. Super good breakfast. Highly recommended. â

âHuone oli 4.ssĂ€ kerroksessa. Se plussaa. ErittĂ€in tilava.. vuoteet neljĂ€lle vaikka meitĂ€ oli 2. Siisti mutta kalusteet vanhahtavat. Huoneessa lavuaari mutta suihkut ja wc:t kĂ€ytĂ€vĂ€llĂ€. NiitĂ€ oli kyllĂ€ kolmet ja erittĂ€in siistit, valoisat ja tilavat. Toimi hyvin. Aamiainen noudettiin tarjottimelle aulasta ja syötiin omassa huoneessa, siellĂ€ pöytĂ€. Parasta oli ehdottomasti loistava sijainti vanhan kaupungin sydĂ€messĂ€ ja ostoskadut aivan tarjottimella. Samoin ruokapaikat. Hintavuus vĂ€hĂ€n yllĂ€tti....

âWe liked the room and the every day cleaning. The staff was always helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious.The only disappointment was the package of sandwiches to take with on our final morning. We had an early flight so we couldn't have brakfast even though it was paid. I'm sure you could have done better than 2 slices of toast!â

âWe stayed in Bologna three days and the hotel was very good for this kind of mini holiday ! We had a lovely room with own bathroom, tv with basic italian channels, all equipments for making food...
We also enjoyed a lot of the breakfast which contained big variety of food from bread to vegetables and eggs etc. Only down side was that the bed wasn't that good for our backs, but not everyone likes the same so... in overall we really enjoyed our time and I could defenitely vist again.â

âWe had a very pleasent stay here. The reception personnel was very friendly and helpful. The suite was roomy and clean and the bed very good. So was the breakfast. Parking area was only 50 meters away, and had good spagetti for the car after having survived a really narrow gate. Excellent location. Recommend highly.â

âI was a bit hesitant to book the hotel as the price (for August) was very low. But it turned out very well. So the hotel offers value for money. The location is excellent, just across the street from the railway station and the airport bus. Also, the historical area is fully within walking distance.

"Modern and comfortable hotel about 15 minutes walk from a railway station. The room is compact, but has all you need including fridge, glasses, slippers and cosmetics (really like their shampoo/hair conditioner fragrance). The staff was great, especially a handsome gentleman at the reception at 7am. The breakfast buffet is served from 7am and has everything from mortadella and parmigiano cheese to espresso or cappuccino served to your table. The taxi from the hotel to airport costs 25 euro."
