”A charming Scandinavian hotel with excellent service. The beds are soft and the duvets are plush (perhaps a bit too warm in the summer). Don’t skip dinner; the experience is amazing! Also breakfast is super! The bar is great, and the terrace is wonderfully sunny. If you are a very light sleeper, it's advisable to request a room facing the courtyard or bring earplugs, as the nearby road is surprisingly busy. However, the noise did not bother us.

Small minus for the breakfast, that was catered for us in the lobby instead of the hotel restaurant, which a larger group seemed to occupy. We don't know if this is the hotel's usual policy or not - felt a bit weird though.”

Directions from Expedia from train station to the hotel is NOT correct if you plan on walking from train station to hotel. My advice… call the hotel and have them shuttle you from train station to hotel. It’s a free shuttle to and from hotel. Wonderful stay! Absolutely incredible view of the Matterhorn. ”
