”It was a 7 minute (0.4 mile) walk to Pleasure Pier which was the most important feature for our stay. The ac was nice & cold. Since our time was packed & busy, we didn’t get to swim in the pool but it looked clean & my daughter tried out the hot tub. The problem was the bed. It appeared fine until it was sat on. It was broken on one side & would go down just on that side. We picked it up, set it on the legs & made it work by sleeping on the other side that wasn’t broken. The Kuerig lid needs...

”This condo was so cute and cozy!!! Our kids loved the bunks! The pools were great! My only issue was we have young kids who watch tv going to sleep and unfortunately the WiFi stopped working which ment tv (Netflix and YouTube) didn’t work in the night time hours per host WiFi is provided by the condos I’m assuming it shuts off at a certain time of night and sucked. But overall the condo itself was great!! Beautiful views!!!”

”The place was great with a relaxing view and convenient restaurant. There were a couple of concerns with the noisy people above us and the loud washing machine that took away at times from our relaxation. Wish the customer service would have been better. While I understand that owners may not want to overstock items, a paying customer should not have to debate if a sufficent amount of towels and 1 ply toliet paper was supplied after requests were made. We washed the towels provided and bought...

”I do not recommend this rental for the price, It smelled like mold, very musky, the listing on Virbo stated “laundry”, but there was no place to wash clothes ((traveled with children @ the beach!)), holes in the wall, paint chipped on the walls, the PVC pipe leaked constantly in the shower celling. While taking a shower, cold water dripped on me, and an elevator was broken. We tried to carry luggage up the stairs, my daughter cut her leg and was bleeding, so I called the front desk and they...

Parhaat hotelliarvostelut kohteessa Texasin Meksikonlahden rannikko

The Whitehall Houston

The Whitehall Houston

8/10 Hyvä
"Noisy room during the daytime and noisy bed during the nightime. We did not experience southern hospitality to get things right and to get offered services, did not happen fluently, more or less blunt. We had problems with the prebooked early check-in, but was solved 1 hour later. They did not recognize Hotels.com vip-benefits, which were shown when we booked the hotel, even when we ask about it. We were told that they are independed of those. Good things were location and the spacious room. Hopefully, when the world cup soccer tournament comes to town next month, things get better!"

"The breakfast buffet was great, fresh fruit and berries and healthy choices - was a wonderful start to the day! Special thanks to Alma and the breakfast staff- the ladies are very busy but all the time keeping a smile on their face and very kind and attentative. I had some issues with the initial check in, but special thanks to Yusal at the reception for being super accomodating and going an extra mile with keeping me happy. The location of the hotel is great - you can walk to restaurants and the mall is very close. The hotel even had a driver, Manuel, who you one could call to come pick you up from the mall before too late, which was great for me as was traveling alone. Great service and location over all. The only feedback I would leave for improvement for me was the smell in the gym - I think it was from the scent machines maybe? It did get worse towards the evening, when the doors to the pool were not opening as often and the fresh air was not able to come in. "
