I requested a room no pet had ever been in and was granted my request. Room was very clean. No allergy problems at all.

The bed was comfortable. It was supposed to be a king size, but it seemed more like a queen. There was a lot of destruction to the room. There was stains in the carpet and deep scratches in the wall, a hole in the bathroom. The cost of having pets stay there was expensive.

The property was very nice for the price. I will stay at Home Town Inn again. I do have some complaints though. Check-in was very slow because the reservation computer was not working and hadn't been for several months (according to the person at the desk). I had to use my cell phone to get the information from Expedia to verify my reservation. After check-in I was informed that I would need to run the hot water for about 10 minutes before the water would get hot (this was actually true). VERY WASTEFUL!!

The positives... functional halfway stop on a 26 hour cross country move. Very nice front desk attendant. Room was run down. But given how tired we were, it worked for us.

The manager was very rude. I had a reservation for 4 nights. A family emergency came up and I asked to cancel the 3 nights. Was within the 24 hour notice period. He refused and charged me for all 4 nights. I was exhausted and didnt notice until the next day. Definately wont be back.

The beds and pillows were very soft. It was an okay place to stay but definitely not worth the $108 I paid. Also, there was no "hot" breakfast. It consisted only of...cereals, white and wheat bread for toast and sticky buns.

Had a nice stay, room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was that according to the clerk, Expedia doesn’t communicate with the facility, they didn’t have me down as being reserved but luckily they had a room that could accommodate us. It all worked out but it could have been a huge cluster. I suggest you call the establishment and confirm your confirmation before you wind up going another hundred miles to stay somewhere.

The room was clean. Renovations are badly needed. Not sure how they remain in business, I didn’t see anyone else there the whole weekend. No where else to stay so not bad in a pinch!

What a great place. Clean, updated, check in easy, easy location to get to. I hadn't realized a train goes by the property a few times a night....until the middle of the night. Didn't disrupt much honestly. The one suggestion I have, coffee maker in the rooms. Other than that, a great stay. Bed comfy.

Good price
Looks like they they have done some fixing up. It was a good place to rest our weary bones! The breakfast was nothing to brag about but for the price that isn't the most important thing! There is a really close noisy train that goes by there a couple of times but with the fan on inside our room, it didn't bother us very much at all.

Clean rooms are OK, sub-standard tv (no HBO), strong odor of curry, breakfast fare is poor, no fruit. Lots of hiway noise, and loud trains several times per night.

Great Times at the Hometown Inn
My mom and I stayed here for one night, and it was wonderful. The host and hostess were very kind and attentive people. I truly felt like we were part of the family.

Can't have coffee
Clean room kind of what you'd expect in a little town. Service was so so, front desk wouldn't let me have coffee because it wasnt 6am all I wanted was a cup of coffee didn't care about breakfast just wanted the coffee. Just for that reason I will not stay here again
