”I stayed for two nights in the lovely Darwin room. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mike/Mick (night porter) was also friendly and helpful. Great view from dining room over the gardens. We had a four poster bed but found it uncomfortable. The bedroom was lovely and the spa bath was great. A short walk to the High Street where there were a number of pubs if you didn't want to stay in the hotel. ”
