”Despite a lack of dedicated parking, the Parking is plentiful with an NCP directly opposite. Room and public areas are immaculate. The staff were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was excellent, less so the continental choice.”

”The property is old beams, four poster beds, sloping floors, beautiful property nice restaurant local to shops pubs and staff young and very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble, our room had a king size 4 poster bed high but very comfortable good shower too, definitely be going back again food was very good also and when you stay you get 10% off food and drink”

”Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”

”Just a 5 minute walk into Shrewsbury centre. Ample parking in a quiet street. Check in process was simple. Room was very clean with lots of little extras, tea, coffee, water, snacks. Quirky interesting decor but clearly attention to detail throughout. Bathroom/shower very clean and comfy bed, slept right through. Would definitely recommend, 9/10.”

”Just minutes from bus and trains, close to all the walable must see spots, excellent staff . Hot great breakfasts included. My room layout was like an apt. separate entrance from reception. Could use stricter enforcement of no smoking as hall had a smokey smell.”

”I bought this overnight stay on the understanding there would be parking available as stated on your website , however i was then told there was no parking on site and i had to park half a mile away and walk in torrential rain . The room itself was up three flights of narrow badly lit stairs , the room was in a filthy disgusting state it clearly hadnt been cleaned properly for months, tatty furniture, dust and dirt everywhere.
