”Excellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask .
There is free parking but wd parked at the ncp which is literally across the road .”
” A traditional hotel with great character which provided everything I needed for four nights stay, with the friendliest and most professional staff I have ever come across. ”Brilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. ”
”Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property.

”We loved our stay, the griunds ste OUTSTANDING & we had a fab talk with your gardener who is doing an excellent job. Your check in staff member was so welcoming & informative. He greeted us every time we passed by, checking all was well & always with a smile. He was working Monday so we couldnt thank him & say goodbye. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again. ”
