”A really lovely and well run hotel. I was more than pleased with the room and bathroom, had everything I needed. The breakfast was spot on, freshly made for the morning and loads to choose from. Id love to come back and bring dad to stay for a weekend.”

”The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”

”Despite a lack of dedicated parking, the Parking is plentiful with an NCP directly opposite. Room and public areas are immaculate. The staff were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was excellent, less so the continental choice.”

”The property is old beams, four poster beds, sloping floors, beautiful property nice restaurant local to shops pubs and staff young and very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble, our room had a king size 4 poster bed high but very comfortable good shower too, definitely be going back again food was very good also and when you stay you get 10% off food and drink”

”Louise was very welcoming, had our room ready and had put the radiator on, very comfortable room and breakfast was amazing! Would highly recommend!”

”Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”

The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and very family-friendly — even the other guests were friendly, which added to the experience. It felt comfortable and homely, and I’d happily stay again.”

”Just a 5 minute walk into Shrewsbury centre. Ample parking in a quiet street. Check in process was simple. Room was very clean with lots of little extras, tea, coffee, water, snacks. Quirky interesting decor but clearly attention to detail throughout. Bathroom/shower very clean and comfy bed, slept right through. Would definitely recommend, 9/10.”

”Room was right next to an outdoor bar where they played loud music till 11pm at night. Literally impossible to sleep until it all shut down. Would avoid staying again.”

”Location was fine. Room was freezing. Instructions were incomplete so was unable to change mode to actually heat the space. Brekkie was adequate (comparing to numerous Premier Inns I have stayed in over the past 3 weeks of travel in the UK.”

”Great central location with parking. Great 3 night visit. Check in instructions only sent to us on the day after we started our journey, rather 24hour in advance. A little radio in the kitchen would be a nice addition.”
