”Great single room with en suite shower. This is a pub/restaurant/hotel but no noise disturbance even at the weekend. Staff all friendly and happy to help. Sunday roast was huge and very tasty. Would defo stay again if in the area.”

”I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”

”Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean and decorated. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Ample parking and well located. Efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this property.”

”Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel...

”The hotel is in the middle of Middleham and there is easy access to the castle and local areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They catered well for my food allergies, which was good as I don't think I would have been able to eat elsewhere in the town. Saying that, I personally wasn't impressed with breakfast but my husband was. Lastly parking was on the street in the market square. We had no problem finding a parking space.”

”Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel”
