”A delightful rural retreat within 15 minutes walk to the centre of Rothbury. ”

”I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. We ordered food it was very fast and efficient, large portions and reasonably priced. The sun was in the beer garden all day. Staff very...

”Great place great rooms great staff, breakfast choice also very good”

”Run by a lovely, very helpful couple who want your stay to be as good as it can be. Provided parking, excellent breakfasts, helpful local knowledge. The room was very clean and was refreshed & restocked each day. Highly recommended.”

”A lovely stay in Alnwick in September 2026. We had a large room with a view of the castle. Breakfast was very good as were the evening meal options. Staff were all friendly, helpful and seemed very competent.”

”Staff were friendly and helpful. Lift was out of order for all of our stay which was not good as I have arthritis in both knees, left hip and right shoulder. There were a lot of stairs - this spoilt the holiday slightly for me”

”Very impressed,excellent hotel”

”This is one of the better Premier inn locations. Staff were available and it was reasonably clean. It was also quiet.”

”Wipe your feet on the way out. If only some money had been spent on the hotel rooms rather than the signage. Not as advertised.”

”Room was clean with tea /coffee in rooms rooms could do with updating breakfast was nice and ample parking Pleasant stay”

”Great place to stay. In a great location for walking holiday and visiting local attractions. Place was kept in excellent condition. Lovely views of the hills and to watch the sun go down on a night. Nice bottle of wine left by the hosts for your arrival. Left to you own devices by the owners unless you had a problem. Would definitely stay again. ”

”Cute and nice lodge, hard to find when it is dark :)”

”Excellent location, an easy walk into Alnwick for the castle, Barter Books etc. Parking a bonus, and Lidl a very short walk away. House itself was very well equipped and well looked after with lots of space for our family of five with older teens. Loved the Sky Lounge for extra space! Overall the nicest place we stayed on our two week holiday, hands down.”
