”I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I’m satisfied with what I received for the price and happy with my stay”

”For a 3 star hotel this ticks all the boxes great value excellent breakfast and a lovely set dinner menu that changes daily. Lovely friendly but professional staff and quiet location but still less than a 5 minute walk to town. You do need to book for dinner as this is a very popular restaurant. If I could find one fault it would be on a personal opinion only and that is that dinner service is to quick between courses but that’s because I like each course to go down before the next is served....

”The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

”As a solo traveller, I booked a single room. It was perfect for my needs with comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a powerful shower and tea & coffee making facilities. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. I didn't take up the offer of breakfast but it certainly smelt good! Parking was available close by and was free with guest permit.”
