”This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality.
The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open.”

Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service.
The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme.
The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour.

”Great location, comfortable and clean room. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Good supply of tea/coffee/biccies/water topped up daily. Paid for parking 10 mins walk away but this is made clear on the hotels website.”
